Here are the results of a one day pastel workshop for a local art group. We focused on how to place the subject on the paper so that you are sure to get everything in. How to correct your drawing by checking measurements and looking at angles and negative spaces. How to block in the composition and how to build up the pastel surface in layers to achieve a colourful painting. I hope you agree that everyone produced an excellent result by the end of the session.
